Layout characteristics

BlogPost is a 2-column layout template. It is a Responsive and SEO friendly template. It has social sharing buttons as well as social following buttons. It is an image featuring theme with roll-over animation effects. The main font of the theme is Open Sans.

The overall width of the theme is 1349 px. The diamension of the side-widget is 374 px. It is suitable for magazines and personal blogs.

Popular Post Widget

The popular post widget of theme blogpost has a prominent image thumbnail and the post heading under that image thumbnail.
The popular post widget do not show the snippet text, or date or author name of the post. The font of the Popular post widget is open sans.
The heading of the post is also fully in uppercase text. The font size of Popular post widget is 2.5em.
The thumbnail image of popular post widget has pixel dimensions 306x233.

Heading of the Post

The font size of Popular post widget is 2.5em. The heading also fully in uppercase characters.
The author name, day, date, number of comments to that particular post and the category of the blogpost is stamped just below the post heading.

Post Body

The content text of this template has open sans font by default. The default size of the content text is 15px. The line height is 27.9 px.

Share Buttons

There are share buttons attached at the bottom of blog posts. The diamension of the share buttons is 125x45 px. By default there is Facebook, Twitter and Google plus share buttons attached t the bottom. More buttons can be added, if needed.

Top Navigation Menu

The Top navigation menu diamension is 735x58 px. The font size of text here is 1.8em. The menu buttons are also fully uppercase characters.

About the author widget

About the author is present just below the social share buttons. it has space for an avatar image, and also social media profile pages of the author for contacting or connecting with the author. A brief description about the author can also be added in this widget.

Related Post widget

The related post widget is present just below the about the author widget. The Related post widget can hold two related posts with image thumbnails. The image thumbnail also has roll-over effects.
The image dimensions for related post is 367x200 px. The heading of the post is shown at the bottom-left corner of the image and not below the image-thumbnail.

Comment box

The comment box for blogpost template is 772 px wide. It can also hold a thumbnail image of the commenting persons.

Footer

There is no footer by default for the blogpost theme. All it has in the footer is an attribution text. You can add widgets to the footer and customise if needed.
 

Social Media Follow buttons

The follow buttons are fixed to the centre-right part of this template.
